We spent 4 nights at Tea Trails in Castlereagh Bungalow. I absolutely loved it! Can't think of a single thing to fault the service, rooms or food. I almost cried when it came to leaving. I wish i'd left our stay at Castlereagh until the end of our holiday because it was a big come down when we arrived at... more

We had a very nice experience in Tea trail. We stayed at Nowood bungalow. It’s a big nice home with around 4 bedrooms. Once we arrived, we really fell at home and not in a hotel. We were greeted by the manager who tells us welcome: this is your home. Everything is included: tea time (very English style with good... more

We booked a wedding trip for 8 nights to Sri Lanka through FleeWinter which ended with 4 days spent at the Castlereagh Bungalow where we married on the last full day. Our entire visit to Sri Lanka was amazing; with wonderful friendly people like you have never experienced before and beautiful sites. You do need a competent driver in this... more

We stayed at Castlereagh Bungalow for 2 nights in the middle of our Sri Lanka tour. This was the best played we've ever stayed anywhere in the world. The food and service were fantastic - we had one lunch which was the most delicious food I think we'v ever tasted. You do have to make an effort to take some... more

We spent 2 nights in Norwood bungalow as part of our honeymoon. And had the most fabulous time. From the moment we arrived, we were treated wonderfully - and at the same time we felt really at home. The room was beautiful - very spacious with french doors onto a little private terrace with a day bed. It also had... more

I came to Tea Trails with exceptionally high expectations and was quite staggered to find that these bungalows exceeded them in every respect. This is truly a world class destination which cannot be faulted. Spent four nights in two bungalows, first Castelreagh, which is the most traditional and has stunning views of the lake and then Norwood, with its glorious... more

I stayed for a few nights at Tea Trails Castlereagh in May 2008. What a special place!! As a restored Tea Superintendent’s home it’s like staying in a small private home - with great staff and a fantastic chef. All the meals and drinks are included and are of an exceptional standard, and can be shared with fellow guests if... more

We stayed at Castlereagh bungalow for three nights and it was absolutely fantastic. We were greeted with a salute from the uniformed gate keeper which straight away made us feel special and then with a nice cooling drink when we entered the bungalow. The staff are amazing, I think there are only about five men working in the place but... more
