Lovely place, nice appartment, very helpful and superenthusiastic owner. The location right at the beach makes it perfect if you love nature and comfort at the same time. Greetings, judith en toos from The Netherlands

We stayed for 4 nights in June 2012. The campsite is very clean with choice of beach side of the road with no electricity or the main campsite. Host is very helpful with advice on walking, sea kayaking, cycling and local wildlife. From midnight sun to blue sky and sea with white sand and mountains this is an idyllic spot... More

We stayed for almost 14 days in July 2012. Beautiful place to get at ease and a great starting point for hiking, biking and watersports.Recommendable to all those who want to get away from daily hurry and noise. Wonderful midnight sun over the sandy beach. We'll surely get back when we visit Lofoten or Vesteralen again.

Had a great stay! The camping is right at the beach with beautiful views wherever you look. The accomodation is nice. We stayed in one of the apartments without WC or shower, but the common WC and showers were very clean all the time and not so many people. I can really recommend Stave Camping and to visit Andøya. There... More

We camped one night here. The location is great, overlooking the sea with a magnificent beach. The host, as others have pointed out, isn't so much a host as a business machine on legs. Like others in Norway, this place applies the Ryanair approach: you pay for anything and everything you use, including showers and hot water for the dishes... More

We charge kr. 180 for camping, kr 50 for electricity. The hot water pools cost us over 1 million norwegian kroner to build, so we have to charge a reasonable price. Glad your kids enjoyed their time in the pools! More

We rented a 4-person cabin here. It was rather tiny, but we later found that there exist cabins that are even more tiny. But it was OK for our family. The view from the camp site is very pretty, over the ocean. The pools are very expensive, so we skipped those. Hot water is apparently expensive in Stave, because even... More

I asked the owner a normal question (why does he charge NOK20 for 6 minutes of hot showers) and he returned me the money and said he didn't want unhappy campers around. Then he followed us down the beach to make sure we wouldn't camp further down (although we had every right to). The owner doesn't seem to want to... More

You were not happy, so we immediately returned your money., no questions asked : - ) Can't do more than that. And yes, we do ask people who are not paying guests to move along. More

The best part of our trip to Norway was our stay at Stave Camping & Hot Pools. Our cabin was very comfortable and had a great view and the price was reasonable. I couldn't have asked for more.. The staff were friendly and helpful at all times.
