We originally saw this house on Channel 4's 'Three in a Bed', and following this, Lottie booked us both a room for my 20th birthday. We knew to expect great things from the house, having seen it on the television and on internet reviews, but we were still blown away by all aspects of the experience. The hosts are a... More

My stay was for 3 nights during a buisness trip. The welcome and attention to detail is first class. There is so much to see in this fabulous house you need a week to see it all. The hosts cater for your every need. The evening meal of 3 courses is excellent.and the breakfast is made to your own specific... More

How lucky were we to have been made to feel so welcome in such a beautiful home? The house itself is stunning but with the added friendliness and charm of Caroline and Jeffrey our stay at Haughley House was perfect. The attention to detail is fantastic, what could be nicer than finding your pyjama's warming on a heated rail and... More

We too saw Haughley House on the Channel 4 programme and booked a short break to celebrate my 50th birthday. A couple of friends also booked a room which was a really nice surprise. The Bowdens are marvelous hosts and really made my birthday meal special. Everything about Haughley House is top quality and if you want anything special, you... More

I first became aware of Haughley House when I saw it on the first series of 'Three in a bed' on Channel 4 a couple of years ago. I made a note of the name and a promise to myself that I would one day visit. I visited with my boyfriend at the beginning of November 2011. Contrary to the... More

My sister & I visited Haughley House in August of this year (2011). Sadly, we were only staying two days, but what a wonderful two days they were! This was my first trip overseas. My sister & I were staying at 5 B&B's over three weeks and it was my task to choose 2 of them. I found Haughley House... More

After 2 days of heavy house hunting we were ready for a more personal stay than that afforded by a hotel and we were not disappointed. Our room was large and comfortable, the food first rate and we much enjoyed chatting with our hosts over breakfast and one very entertaining dinner. The home cured bacon was as good as any... More

My partner and I have recently returned from a very brief visit to England and stayed at Haughley House, Suffolk, a charming country home in a picturesque little village. Our hosts Jeffrey and Caroline were warm and welcoming and we felt like one of the family. The food offered for breakfast and dinner was delicious home cooking and we enjoyed... More

Used to Hotels for business, but after my stay will look to "B&B's" in the future. Very helpful and excellent hosts, left alone where required. As with all private accomadation you have to ask if you have specific requirements. Again very positive with nothing being a problem, made to feel very relaxed. This is a partial private house and as... More

We have recently returned from a short break to the lovely county of Suffolk where we spent two nights bed & breakfast at Haughly House, the beautiful manor house home of Jeffrey & Caroline Bowden. Our stay was quiet, comfortable and relaxing. The four poster bedroom was a delight and the bed very comfortable. Having arrived at tea-time we were... More
