Fabulous friendly staff in an idyllic location. This resort exceeded my expectations. Myself, husband and 2 kids (aged 3 and 5) stayed in the Lagoon View room - best for families as it is so close to the main swimming pool, swimming beach and meals. I have to say after reading some not so good reviews about the Shangri-la resort I was a bit reluctant to stay there, however as it was all booked and paid for when I read those there was no turning back. Thank goodness. What a fantastic place to stay. I have considered that people moan for the sake of moaning.... more

Treat yourself and take the kids to the Shangrila!! It was a welcoming, clean resort that had all kinds of amenities and activities that we ALL enjoyed! The pool area was immaculate, the tours were well organised, the disco, games room and movie nights for the older kids kept them entertained while the adults could relax! I liked the handy... more

It was my first time to Fiji. I wanted to do snorkelling. Shangrila Fijian advertises a reef off the coast but it is mostly rock with poor hard coral growth. Underwater, there is mostly seaweeds near the beach. I joined tours to the Mamanucas islands but the transfers is about 1 hr each way. I should have stayed at Nadi... more
