This hostel is definitely one of the best I've done so far in NZ. The location is just outstanding with great view on the lake and mountains. The kitchen is just great with fresh rosemary and free tea and coffee. The bedroom was big and beds really comfortable with super pillow!!

We were there for 5 nights, double room. Brilliant, clean well sized room, shower/bathroom just across the hall, well set out kitchen. Great views = excellant facilities, cheerful and helpful staff. Great place to stay. Just outside the hustle of town and overlooking the lake and mountains. Great facilities and friendly staff. Nice common areas to meet other travelers. A really conscientious hostel, they even have specific notice boards for hiking buddies, travel buddies etc for solo travelers. Kitchen is great, honestly there is nothing bad to say about this place!
