We only stayed one night at this well located lodge within easy walking distance of the town centre. It's modern and comfortable, our room and bathroom was well equipped but the overall decor and feel was "too brown" for our taste. We were looking for a quiet spot in which to relax for a couple of days in the Wanaka area. We found it at the Wanaka Springs Lodge. Plus, the other guests with whom we shared afternoon happy hour each had something interesting to add to our internationally-flavored conversation. The accomadations were beyond belief. The food always fresh and delicious. The host and hostess were the friendliest people i have had the enjoyment of staying with. I would demand that you stay there if in the area. more

We booked to stay here after a last minute decision to go to Wanaka for the weekend, and we weren't disappointed! The hosts, Lynn and Murray couldn't be more welcoming and even invite guests to join them in a free pre-dinner drink during their stay.
