Adequate hotel for a night's stay.. Clean rooms and spacious studio.. very nice views from room.. Be aware that the motel has views of the lake, but is not exactly walking distance to the lake front.. Since it's on a hill, you need a vehicle to get to the main restaurant area etc. more
After a tiring drive of 3 hours from Franz Josef Glaciers, we were thrilled to be greeted by the picturesque view. We were in Room 4 and everything was impeccable. This is one of the best stays. If I am coming to Wanaka again, I would definitely stay here again more
This place was excellent and I really enjoyed my time here. Although it is slightly pricier than some of the other places around it made up for it with its spectacular views of Wanaka. The place was comfortable and clean and the owners were lovely and helpful. Worth the money would recommend it. more
We had a downstairs room and spent a lot of time in the room admiring the incredible views of the lake and mountains in the background.....so beautiful. Downstairs rooms have like a bay window with shelf and chairs like a breakfast bar. Spent all our time there, reading, having an 'eat in' dinner, and breakfast in the morning. Was great... more
Great views over the lake. 5 minutes walk from the shops. The rooms have everything you need we had a split level room good space and very clean and comfortable. more
Best views of Wanaka, 3 mins walk to town for dinner...friendly proprietors...room is very basic but all we needed and the views made up for it. more
probably the best hotel of our NZ trip. we had room 5 (if i remember correctly) which has two floors, one with the kitchen, living room, bathroom, toilet, and the second floor (more like a loft) for the large bed. The views are incredible over the bay and we had a wonderful dinner on the deck overlooking Wanaka. View goes... more
feels more like you've been given the keys to a gorgeous holiday home rather than a motel as it has a real quiet private feel to it. It was great to have the free wireless and the kitchenette - it has everything you need. A very cosy and convenient place to stay with stunning views. i would definitely recommend it. more
Great like self contained units. The views from this place are amazing. Just a 5 min walk and you are in the center of town as well. People who run this place are very friendly too. more
