There just isn't a detail that Berny and Paul missed. Even the amenities in the rooms are chosen with eco-friendliness in mind. The Maple Lodge is 1 and 1/2 years old and still feels new. The handicap facilities are first rate and there is reserved handicap parking.. The internet, well, so-so. Paul, the host, says he limits per client access to 50 mB, which isn't much, but I'm not sure it's true. What is true is that the internet service fails rather... more

We travelled new zealand for 4 weeks and maple lodge was one of the best places we stayed at. We loved the comfortable bed and the spacious and very clean bathroom.
