Even after experiencing the "three-star" quality at other Indian hotels, this one was well-below par even for Indian standards. The location is well away from the city center and is accessed via a small side-street. The upkeep of the hotel left much to be desired and if it hadn't been so late at night we would definitely have left immediately. The bathroom was no better and I would categorize it as a bit scary. Like I said, we were used to budget hotels, but this one was decidedly worse than most. The best thing about the hotel was the balcony overlooking the Ganges. While it was too far to view the sunrise and sunset ceremonies, we did see the flowers floating by. more
