Stayed for one night, rooms and bathroom very spacious but, had no air con or fan, no fridge, tv did not work, no water or drink to purchase on sight. I unfortunately fell ill throughout the night, not being able to purchase water and keep our own water cold due to no fridge was not helped by 2 people people... More

This hotel is very nice, spacious room, beautiful view, clean bathroom with hot water, but the highlight was definitelly service and helpful staff. Manager prepared for us breakfast at 5.30 in the morning as we had to leave early:-) Fresh juice, fruits, eggs and fresh toasts. I would definitelly recommend this hotel in Ella and would love to come back!

It has it's drawbacks, the view is not the best in Ella (which doesn't mean it's not good, just that there are some places with a view just breathtaking, while here it's just nice), and a climb to the hotel after a dinner out might be a bit too steep, but well, the positive sides definitely win the game. We stayed here for 3 nights and enjoyed the convenience of being close to many restaurants. The rooms here are very spacious with nice balconies overlooking the hills. Being set back from the main road and up a hill it is very quiet here and has great views from the balcony. We had a triple which was more than adequate for a family of four. Hotel Alta Vista is affordable good hotel to stay in Ella. Rooms were clean and has more space. The view from the balcony is nice but it is not the Ella Gap view as displayed in their website.
