We stayed on the first and last night of a cycling trip with Inntravel (an excellent tour overall). We raced to get back to this hotel on our last day. On our first night there was a large family party in the hotel and we were put in a lovely 2 bedroomed bungalow in the grounds. Our last night was... more

We stayed at the Bastide Saint Georges for a few days in October and very much enjoyed our stay. The rooms were very modern and furnished to a high standard. The heated pool was a delight for our children who would spend any free time enjoying the sun. The spa was an added extra with the hot tub great to... more

After reading the reviews & viewing the photos at the hotels web site, we thought this would be a nice place for a romantic break. Unfortunately it was nothing special at all, and a bit too noisy. The room was well decorated, clean, and the bed comfortable, however staff apparently never noticed that the shower head was partly blocked, its... more

My husband, 4 year old son and I stayed at this hotel for 5 nights. It was our first time here at this hotel and we were very pleased with the accommodations. We had the Eleanore room which is supposedly one of the newer ones and it had very elegant appointments and a very spacious bathroom, plus a large covered... more

Lovely setting, great terrace, rooms spread around like a motel, and our room was unfinished with wires hanging out of the bathroom light. Unpainted MDF shelving in alcove with curtain in front. Comnfortable bed, pillows and good bedding. Pool ok, but heated in June and far too warm, - as agreed by all who used it. Staff very laid back,... more

This hotel was part of a cycling tour that we did this year. It was the first and last stop and it was great to start and end on such a high! The rooms were really lovely, the breakfast substantial and the setting for the hotel is just beautiful. You're within easy reach of some lovely places to visit in... more

We booked this hotel since we wanted to see the 'Tour de France'. We thought 170Euros a night was a bit steep but were beguiled by the description of a calm place. The room was lovely and the surroundings stunning. However we were not really greeted on arrival and we would have liked more written information in the room. The... more

We stayed here as part of a self-guided cycling tour organised with Inn Travel, and it was a fantastic starting and finishing point for our holiday. The rooms are mostly in annexes around the pool, and were delightfully decorated in pretty, rustic Provencal style. The bathrooms were large and everything looked brand new and immaculately clean. There is a restaurant... more

As a first time traveler to Provence who ended up being completely awestruck by the beauty of the French countryside, our stay at La Bastide St Georges could not have been more ideal. The hotel is situated in the countryside right outside of Forcalquier, a charming town located in the Luberon region of Provence, and comprises a series of individual... more

We stayed in this hotel for 4 nights at the beginning of March and loved it. It is fairly new and all the bedrooms are very tastefully decorated in neutral colours with some beautiful individual touches. Our room opened out onto a small terrace area overlooking the pool and beautiful views beyond. Georges and his wife who live at one... more
