We thoroughly enjoyed staying at this Chambre d’hote. The owners are welcoming, thoughtful and professional and the site, just outside Cotignac is very pretty, surrounded by olive groves. The air conditioned room was sufficiently large, clean and modern, as was the bathroom. The room’s Terrace looks down a small lawn to a clean, warm swimming pool. A simple, very French, breakfast of pastries and fruit is provided and there is a very useful and attractive loggia available to guests where food and drinks can be stored in a fridge, and consumed in a pleasant environment. All in all exactly what we were looking for, and had hoped to find. We would happily return.

We stayed at the property in September for five nights and we're delighted that we did. Yannick and Jean Claude are unobtrusive and wonderful hosts and did all they could to make us comfortable. The access to the property is very easy as it's just off the D50 and has ample parking for three cars. There is a small but lovely pool at the back of the property set amongst olive trees and herb bushes. Our room on the first floor was simply but elegantly decorated with excellent cupboard space and good hangers and the walk-in shower was superb, with a hand held shower plus a rainfall head. Yannick laid out a well presented breakfast with fresh bread, fruits, cheese, jams and yogurts. The property is 1.5km from Cotignac, which has plenty of good bars and restaurants. If we returned to this area we would definitely stay here again.

My wife and I have just returned home from a 3 night stay at Mas de l'Olivette and despite the 41 degree heatwave over there we found enough shady nooks and crannies to enjoy our stay in the beautiful home of Yannik and Jean Claude who were our hosts. We were there for a wedding and had taken a taxi from Nice to the venue and didn't have a car to get around. The owners were amazing, they asked us if they could give us transportation into town to shop, took us out to our evening dinner venue and on our last day Jean Claude gave us an impromptu tour of Cotignac which was truly wonderful and a lovely surprise. They make guests feel very welcome, one of the couples at breakfast was scared of a wasp bothering her and Jean Claude stood by the table with his swatter shouting ATTENTION and whacking it away. They really are a nice couple and we have every intention of visiting them again or even to trying the apartment they have in Cannes as that also looks lovely. Very special 3 days.

We stayed here for three nights as we were attending a wedding nearby. The room was clean, the views beautiful and the hosts wonderful. The breakfast was delicious, we traveled elsewhere in France for a week afterwards and could not find a breakfast as good! I would definitely recommend staying here.

We stayed here as our friends had rented a house just down the road and we were latecomers. This B & B was at the recommendation of the agent for the house. The hosts were very welcoming, suites were nicely decorated and perfectly clean. Breakfasts were outstanding and catered well to my requiring gluten free food. I would highly recommend - just be aware they do not accept credit card. We paid cash as bank transfer overseas is very expensive (fee and exchange rate).

My wife and I stayed in the separate chalet which was equipped with a small kitchen and air conditioning. We would highly recommend a stay here. It is a 15-20 min walk out of Cotignac but with pleasant views - care needs to be taken at night as can be a little dark with no pavements to walk on - torch might be an idea. The place is well positioned for exploring the surrounding area including Gorge du Verdon, Moustiers ste Marie, coast including St Tropez - all within an hour or so. We stayed seven nights here and had plenty of time to rest around the pool, having it to ourselves the majority of the time. A nice touch was the communal fridge where you can help yourself to drinks leaving a 1.50 euros for beer/coke etc. As has already been mentioned the hosts, Yannick and Jean Claude, are extremely welcoming and friendly without being over the top. They were very helpful with suggestions for day trips etc. Yannick speaks English well but we felt guilty not to have enough French to speak to Jean Claude more. Breakfast is lovely - croissants, baguette, selection of cheeses, home made jams, fresh fruit, homemade yoghurt. We certainly felt well fed afterwards! We would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend!

This is our second visit to Mas de l'Olivette and was even better than the first. The hosts John Claude and Yannick are so freindly and helpful. We stayed in the Fanny Room which is close to the pool and on ground level. Breakfast is served on the terrace of the house and is the perfect French breakfast. The facilities are great, the pool are is lovely, with plenty of room to do nothing. Next to the pool is a covered seating area which is perfect for you to prepare a light lunch with a lovely shared fridge which is a great touch. The place is so peaceful and calm. There was one couple that were there the same time as us last year again that says how likeable this place is. I have no douby that we will be back again to see our lovely hosts.

We had a great stay at Mas de l'Olivette. We didn't take advantage of all the amenities (bikes free to borrow with a security deposit; pool for which you have to rent a towel at 8€/day), but enjoyed the setting. We made the ~1km walk into town a few times, but be careful as there's no sidewalk and the streets are narrow and windy. The WiFi worked reliably. Breakfast was simple but good. There was no AC, which isn't unusual, but that did mean dealing with mosquitos and moths and night. Window screens and free pool towels would easily push this into a 5-star review. And again, our hosts were quite lovely, even helping us pack up our very full car. Would definitely stay there again.

We were a party of 6 staying for 3 nights for a wedding nearby. Our hosts were very nice and helpful and the rooms were very clean and decorated in the Provencal style most successfully. We made good use of the swimming pool and the outside kitchen area is great with the big fridge and coffee and tea making facilities. Breakfast was French style with good croissants, bread etc., yoghurts, tea and coffee, juice and when we spotted some lovely fresh figs in a bowl we were immediately offered those as well. However, our one complaint was that one of our party had requested a twin room as she was sharing with her adult son. On booking she was told that this was fine but on arrival she was told that they had no twin rooms. Perhaps something was lost in translation. Her son opted to stay elsewhere. My husband and I would return. Cotignac is not far away although we did use a car you could walk and it is a lovely village.
