Its a very large hotel with small rooms, dated 1970s deco. Food is poor and is a bit of a bun fight especialy at breakfast. We ate out 4 evnings despite having paid for HB. The hotels savoyard meal was ok. I guess if you can get a cheap deal & you want food as a fuel for skiing it... more
We stayed at the Hotel Aujon Easter 2006 (sorry for the late review!) and had a fabulous holiday. It is not a luxurious hotel by any means but the rooms were clean and comfortable. Food and service were very good, but feeding 300 people from a buffet in two hours is a recipe for chaos, noise, rudeness and not much enjoyment. Very popular with the Dutch and Belgians, who are very good at the old push and shove techniques of buffet dining. more
