My fiance and I received a very welcoming arrival to sun village. The surroundings of the hotel was extremely clean spacious and relaxing whilst still being with close proximity to town centre and nightlife! It is within very close range to some exceptional beaches which provided us with much entertainment. The hotel has a very good pool bar service and... More

We had difficulty deciding upon a place to stay while on Crete. We hadn't been anywhere with a "party atmosphere" yet on our trip, so we decided that Crete would be the place where we would let our hair loose. But we aren't "twnty-somethings" and we wanted to be somewhere close to the party, but far enough away from the... More

We were three 19 year olds going to Malia for the nightlife and setting - and SunVillage was the perfect base to be at. We were relieved to find it not over-run by drunkards even though it was ideally situated 1 minute from the strip. The family who run it are so friendly and welcoming. The rooms are clean and... I think this hotel is best in all Malia if you are not 16-18 years old and not looking for party hard. The atmosphere is really lovely, staff very friendly. I really enjoyed my stay there. It's quiet and peaceful that's all what I needed.

6 friends and me stayed at Sun Village from 3-13 July this year and we were treated like idiots from the start. We arrived at the hotel around 1am, we respected that people will be asleep nearby and was whispering to each other in conversation. Marina who works at the hotel started shouting at us to shut up before she... More

This is a good hotel, it is not far from the beach and mostly importantly it is far enough from the extremely noisy street of bars, pubs and clubs that are teeming with *a-hem* British teenagers. If you lived close to that or even worse, there, I fear you would not be able to have any night sleep at all.... More
