I have just returned from 10 days at Sterling Hotel B&B in Malia, Greece. The hotel was basic, small and certainly not suitable for children. The hotel is situated in the centre of Beach Road (the main strip of bars & nightlife) which was ideal as we were there to party! There is noise from the surrounding area which was to be expected but did not affect us too much as we were partying through the night! The hotel itself is fairly quiet with a landlady who shows face every few days and a lovely cleaner who will gladly clean your room spotless whenever asked. There is an excellent pool literally 10 steps from the hotel which is used by neighbouring hotel guests and workers and has a great atmosphere!

I would also recommend a trip to the beach, there is a charge of 2 euros for the sun loungers but it's worth it for the lovely beach waiter (Craig).
