Stayed in King Minos for 4 nights in July 2009. We were very warmly welcomed by man at reception and shown where lift was to bring baggage up. The exceptionally friendly staff made our visit a pleasure. Rooms are large with great sea views and large balconies at the front. At the rear your view will be of a hill but you will get evening sun. The only downside is that because the hotel is built on a hill there are lots of steps and slopes to negotiate. more

What forced me to leave that awful hotel was that I almost lost my eyesight because of the overdose of clorion of the swimming pool. The King Minos was an excellent 3-star Greek hotel. We booked 2 double rooms for 2 nights at the last minute in the middle of the high season, so sea view rooms were not available.
