Vineyards, olive trees and wonderful hospitality! What more could one want. The rooms were spacious, tastefully decorated and very comfortable with a beautiful baths. Our room had a walled balcony overlooking the hillsides. We looked forward to breakfast every morning. Regional honey and jams, fresh breads and wonderful coffee, tea and fruit started our day perfectly. We felt like one... more

Sometimes great things just happen! And so it was when we pulled our little Fiat 500 into the driveway of Nascondiglio di Bacco, nestled in the vineyard-covered hills and valleys of the Marche region. Bacco himself greeted us. . a floppy, beautiful, black flat-hair retriever, and shortly behind him was Dwight and Raffaele, the "other" owners. We immediately fell in... more

We were charmed by the pastoral tranquility of a classy centuries-old B&B on a working organic vinyard in Marche. The view of the valley from the deck of the swimming pool was spectacular and rustic. Our room was spotless and the bathroom was clean and modern with great showerheads and fixtures - actually the best lodgings during our trip which... more

I had toured and seen much of Italy before this most recent trip, and, like so many others, fell in love with the country. Still, I had never experienced more of the countryside, of the traditional areas of Italy, and didn't even consider going along the Adriatic Coast at first. However, after the trip, I'm ecstatic that I decided to... more

We spent three nights in April 2009 with our host Dwight (he is an American surgeon, so he can sew up your torn coat or mend the webbing on a pool chair in a pinch) in this wonderful agriturismo in the heart of the wine country near Offida. The 500 year old farmhouse has been redone in the last several... more

This is a beautiful place to stay. It truly felt like coming home after a long day outside. Dwight and Raffaele are really amazing hosts and what ever they prepared for breakfast was excellent. The room was very large and comfortable and from the balcony we had a view to the hills and the Monti Sibillini in the background. It... more

Perched on the top of a hill, nestled amongst the beautiful rolling countryside of Le Marche -a patchwork of vineyards set against the dramatic backdrop of the Gran Sasso mountain- Nascodiglio di Bacco is the perfect hide-away. The converted farm house has both modern comfort and rustic charm and Dwight and Raffa are most accommodating and delightful hosts -as well... more

Each morning as I opened my eyes, I looked out into the most beautiful countryside in Italy. From our balcony, I could view the rolling hills with olive trees & grape vines. Off in the distance were majestic mountains. Inside the restored 500 year old farmhouse, you are surrounded by beauty and serenity. Handmade soaps and down comforters invite you... more

My wife and I stayed at Nascondiglio Di Bacco for four nights and enjoyed the wonderful company of owners Dwight and Raffaele. They were great hosts, even cooking a special dinner for us one evening. The room was excellent and the location couldn't be better for exploring this part of Le Marche. From observing their wine making process to participating... more

We stayed with Sylvia for 2 nights in early May, 2007. Her 'hideout' is a loving restoration with lots of personal touches. The rooms are thoroughly updated, the views gorgeous in all directions. She speaks excellent English, and can help with anything you need. We drove to the beach both days, as well as nearby hilltop towns. Just a perfect... more
