A good 20 minute walk from the old town past many blocks of flats this dates hotel offers business style accomadation. Probably built 25 yrs ago they have kept the place clean but could do with a facelift. The swimming pool is only open for two slots of two hours a day and on our visit every school child in the area was using it for swimming lessons. I would have preferred to stay closer to the old town but conveinient if you need parking on the edge of town. more

Tempted by reviews about fabulous food, I got off the train in Martina Franca. I went looking for a room and followed the signs to Hotel Dell'Erba. It will seem very American for those who are used to staying in small, quainter accommodations. Martina is a very modern city, and the hotel is also that. The off-season rate was good, but there is nothing charming aobut this place. It's like the Italian version of a Best Western.
