We've stayed for one week in hotel La Baggia in Alcamo Beach. We were really pleased with this hotel. It's direct on the beach, which is cleaned every morning. There are sunbeds with umbrella. La Battigia has claimed their fame based on the fact that the whole crew for Oceans 12 stayed at the hotel when filming their final scenes nearby in the more famous historic village Scopello, next to Castellamare Del Golfo. Stayed here for three nights We chose it because of its proximity to the airport (30 mins drive) as our flight arrived late in the evening. The approach is less than imposing across a railway line ,down a narrow alley and across a large seafront carpark however once you get to the hotel its fine. We stayed in La Battigia hotel during our 2 weeks holidays in Sicily, the hotel is located in Alcamo marina, less than an hour by car from Trapani airport. Booked direct with the hotel after searching for local hotels on mappy.com The photographer who took the pictures for the hotel's website definitely has an artistic eye!
