We stayed here for a few nights in the B&B building. The grounds here are beautiful and tranquil and we enjoyed the setting. The rooms were okay, a small bedroom with a good sized bathroom. There wasn't any air conditioning and room was a little stuffy, but it was October so perhaps they'd turned it off. The location was central... more

We rented the apartment named "Bacco 1". Outstanding floor level apartment. Patio looked out over vineyards and olive trees. The grounds of this gem are meticulous and beautiful....lined with hedge-rows of bay leaf and rosemary. Pool area is quiet and clean. Great place to chill. You will not be disappointed. The apartments offer a more independent experience which is what... more

Lovely, quite villa-hotel in the hills of Tuscany. Situated in between Firenze and Sienna, but you need a car. Nice staff. No bar, but a mini-bar at the hotel room. Nice garden and (small) swimming pool. Clean rooms. more

We stayed at La Canonica with our children (ages 11 and 14) for four nights earlier this month, in the "Bacco 1" apartment, a two-bedroom apartment with one bath. Overall the experience was excellent, though as I will describe below, there were a couple of aspects of the service that could be tweaked just a bit. La Canonica is a... more

We have just returned from a blissful week staying at La Conanica di Cortine. My partner and I travelled with our 2 teenage daughters and stayed in the Torre Vecchia B & B. If you are looking for an authentic Tuscan experience then this is ideal - sympathetically restored, antique furniture, immaculately presented throughout and lovely owners and staff. The... more

Spent a wonderful week at La Canonica di Cortine. It is a fabulous place to stay. We rented one of the apartments (Vespro) and it was great. We had a full kitchen, washing machine. We loved the terrazza in the back yard and used to have our breakfast and hang out there in the afternoon when we were back from... more

We stayed at La Canonica di Cortine as part of a trip to Europe to celebrate our 25th anniversary. The property rests in the hills of Chianti, in Tuscany, amid vineyards and olive groves. It includes a 5 bedroom villa, a bed and breakfast and several "apartments." We stayed in Torre Vecchia, the bed a breakfast (with a lovely chef).... more

Great property and super staff that were very helpful with everything we asked from restaurants to advance tickets for Florence museums. We had the Tramonto suite and one additional room in the B & B for a family friend. The only negative was that the Tramonto suite didn't have the service that our friend in the B & B received... more

A tastfully restored estate in a beautiful setting. Very friendly owners and staff. The surrounding countryside and villages are great to visit, walk in the markets or just stroll in the countryside. Driving to Florence, and Siena is easy but parking in high season downtown may be difficult but it is so nice to wake up in the morning in... more

Canonica di cortine, Barberino val d`elsa. Heavenly! we spend eight days in this wonderful resort. It was even more beautiful than in the pictures. We stayed in the Cimabue room and we felt as home. It was clean, quiet and beautifully decorated. Felt a special peace in this resort, everything is so well kept. the landscape is wonderful, it looks... more
