This hotel was one of our favourites, especially for the price we paid. The rooms are very nice and modern, the staff very friendly and the location good being a 10min drive from Gaiole and Radda. This hotel is an oasis of rest within Tuscany. The main hall where breakfast is served is beautiful. Our suite was spacious with 2 bathrooms and clean. Pretty hotel out in the middle of nowhere! A restored water mill in very quiet countryside. The staff were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable about the local area. The rooms were clean, although I think the bed was two twin beds pushed together. It's a beautiful place to stay if you want a quiet couple of days out touring the wine... more

Albergo Ultimo Mulino is in a rebuilt water mill, on the road between Radda in Chianti and (eventually) Siena. We spent an enjoyable six days there in May 2006. I stayed 3 nights at the hotel. The hotel was an ancient watermill, now adapted to a small and quiet hotel.
