We just returned from a wonderful trip to Sarteano staying at a lovely country setting at Moggiano in October. Our hostess, Anna Maria, was very friendly and helpful. She had some of the family wine, grapes and olive oil for us as well as a few groceries to make us comfortable on our arrival. We rented the smaller second house... More

Stayed here for a week at the end of September. Lovely owner, Annamaria, who was very helpful and friendly, left us a lovely arrival basket of basic groceries and a bottle of her own wine and olive oil. The apartments are clean, fairly basic but well presented and equipped. The setting is gorgeous, the road up to the villa is... More

This place is fantastic. The setting is incredible- in the middle of the countryside with great views. Olive groves and vineyards on your doorstep. Good sized pool which we often had to ourselves. We stayed in l'arco - very traditional feel, clean and decked out with all you could want with a great private garden.

We stayed for 2 weeks in June 2012. We were in the cottage 'Il Capanno' and it far exceded our expectations. The cottage itself was well appointed in a traditional tuscan style. The bed was comfortable. The outside areas were incredible - the back patio had far reaching stunning views of the tuscan countryside and was very private; the front... More

We have just returned from a wonderful week's holiday staying at Moggiano near Sarteano, in the beautiful south Tuscan countryside. This is one of the best holidays we have ever had , the property was set in the heart of stunning countryside and yet only 10 minutes drive from the main A1 motorway and a large supermarket. Moggiano consists of... More

We stayed here in June 08, the weather was very poor with only a few hours of sunshine but we had a fantasic week. It is an ideal base for touring Tuscany & Umbria with access to the main Autostrada only 5 minutes away, you can actually see the motorway from the Villa in the distance across beautiful countryside. Just... More

We were looking forward to returning to Tuscany for a two weeks stay. We purposely booked a villa as we enjoy cooking. We also booked the vineyard to get away from it all and booked this break away through Thomson. The location was fantastic and the villas looked great from the outside. Inside the villa was dark with poor lighting.... More
