The Climb Inn in Rjukan, Norway, beats any bunkhouse I've ever stayed in. Feels more like staying in a Scandinavian home, full of lovingly designed rooms. It even has a library full of mountaineering literature. The two guys running it offer breakfasts and dinners as well, and having sampled their cooking, it's well worth it. The location is perfect for ice climbing in the area, and the owners are adding a bar and stage downstairs later this year. more
