Balestrand is a small town in a beautiful location on the Sognefjord. The Balestrand hotel is a small, modest hotel overlooking the fjord. The family that runs the hotel is very friendly and extremely helpful. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable, but the rooms are fairly plain.
