Instead of booking a room in the hotel where my congress took place, I decided to go for something different, something cheaper and less sterile so I ended up Googling for a b+b in the Ede/Wageningen area. All in all, this was a very pleasant experience: Sandra Maas is a charming person who will do all the necessary to make your stay in her beautiful house one to remember. I found the room quite luxurious with a quality bed, flat screen TV with a selection of DVD's), coffee/tea & biscuits, a (free) minibar in the hall, free internet etc, which are 5-star amenities for (only) a b+b price . I stayed in the single bed attick room. A luxurious breakfast is served in the dining room with a nice view on the garden. Sandra even served a delicious pancake with cranberries. Again, great value for money! more
