We stayed at aldwhitecraig farm cottages (cobblestone cottage) for 1 week. The cottage was 3*, sleeping upto 5. there was 4 adults and my 1 yr old son. The cottage was very clean, and there was a communal cleaning cupboard which i thought was a great idea. Ann, the owner was very helpful and ensured everything was ok for us.
The kitchen was well equipped and everything was in working order. A cot was provided on request for my son.
The only comment i would make is that the website did say there was an open log fire, which indeed there was. but it was covered up by an electric fire which we had to use instead. the storage heaters didnt work either, but the rooms were provided with portable infra-red heaters which worked just fine!
All in all, a nice, comfortable stay in the cottage!! we would go again!!
