We stayed in the Bluebell Room -spacious with a huge comfortable bed with(firm) good quality mattress and an extra single bed which though we didn't need, was useful for easy storage! We particularly liked the wet room as it's so convenient. Nice touches like a big selection of magazines and a tray to put wet walking boots in not to... more

We have stayed at Wydon three times now and just cannot fault it. Linda and John are so welcoming. The room is comfortable. I am a light sleeper but always sleep well there. We appreciate the clean, spacious room and the little extras such as books about the locality etc. The wet room works well too. Linda cooks the delicious... more

We had a great stay here. The rooms were huge and so it was easy to spend time here. Very clean accommodation, great bed and amazing ceilings (old barn). We loved your breakfasts and you are discreet but friendly. Would stay here again in a flash! more

we had 6 stop overs while walking the hadrians wall path, and this was easily the best. Friendly, clean, good value, great breakfast. It is a little way off the path but they are happy to ferry you there and back. Overall terrific ! more

We booked this accommodation on the reading of Trip Advisor Reviews. Owners earn their reputations and Linda has thought of all the extras to make your stay here as comfortable and memorable as possible. The converted barn accommodation is very thoughtfully done, extremely clean, quiet and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent and the add ons of her service were exemplary. We... more

After booking all of our B & Bs on the Hadrians Wall Walk I read in the Independant newspaper that Wydon Farm had been voted 4th best in the top 50 in the UK so I booked a final nights stay at the end of the walk. The service, room and breakfast was first class and a great experience. I... more

Linda was an excellent hostess from the moment she collected us from the pub on the edge of Hadrians Wall Trail to the moment she thoughtfully knocked on our door offering a foot bath massager to ease our weary feet! Beautiful rooms and farmhouse and excellent hospitality and helpfulness. Anyone 'walking the wall' would be advised to stop at Wydon... more

An imaginative barn conversion. We were made very welcome and there was everything that one could wish for provided in the clean and spacious room and bathroom. The choice at breakfast was amazing and the standard of cooking and presentation superb. We would have liked to stay another night but Linda was fully booked, however she arranged alternative accommodation for... more

We had been warned that the owners would be out at the County Show - unfortunately it meant there was no proper welcome. In my room there were the remains of the shower/bath bottle and soap from somebody else not cleared away, and in my uncle's there were splashes of toothpaste on the basin mirror, somebody else's tissues in the... more
