Beautiful old world hotel with lots of beams and nooks and crannies. We stayed in the Abingdon suite which was a bit tricky to get to due to the steep and narrow winding staircase but we had a large bedroom with a separate sitting room. Dorchester-on-Thames is lovely and despite being barely-known these days, was historically quite an important village. The White Hart is around 400-450 years old I think and still has an old charm. We just had a lovely 2 night stay here. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Food was good and breakfast was fantastic! We had a room in the cottage which is separate from the main hotel - room was a good size with two fold out beds for our boys.

Spent two nights at the hotel. The staff were all friendly. The restaurant food was well presented and tasty. There is parking at the rear of the hotel.The room we had (Abingdon suite) was spacious,clean and comfotable. We had no complaints to make at all about this stay and would reccomend this hotel.

We stayed for one night here in April and found the staff very helpful and friendly. The room we had was lovely and very comfortable (and very warm!). Breakfast was nice with a good choice for cooked breakfast and for continental breakfast. I would recommend this hotel to people staying in the area.
