This was the first time that we stayed at the Anchorage although have stayed elsewhere in Port Erin for many years.  We have often driven past the Anchorage and thought how nice it looked. We stayed there for six nights in September and certainly will be going back next year.    The whole place is very clean and well furnished.  The breakfast menu caters fully for everyone be they modest eaters or somebody who likes a full breakfast  which will last you until well after lunchtime.  Judith and Paul who run the place are very friendly and sociable people and made us and all the other guests very welcome.  The waitresses who helped Judith at breakfast time were also very nice. Breakfast time turned into a really nice friendly experience, did not take us long to get to know all the other guests.   Not one of those B & B 's where breakfast is quiet and nobody talks to each other.. more
