We took my mother to the Isle of Man, an 85 year old who had always wanted to visit. Somehow DOulgas seemed to be full, so on the reviews of other travellers, chose the Port Erin hotel. A superb Victorian Hotel located on the front at Port Erin. The hill leading up to the hotel would be a problem for the elderly or disabled unless they had transport.
