Stayed here for four nights during July 2007. This bed & breakfast is located on the other side of the bay from the main street of Tarbert, but still only about a ten minute walk away.
The view over the harbour was really nice, and since it is located on a residential road, it was also very quiet. However, the wall between the two bedrooms was quite thin, so I could hear the other guests talk a few times - but never loudly.
There was nothing spectacular about the room, but nice and clean. The equally clean bathroom was located just across the hallway, and was not shared with the other guests.
Breakfast was prepared individually for each guest, with a choice that was more than sufficient for me.
The best thing about this place was the host; John. Very friendly, came with very good advice for what to do and where to go - not just in Tarbert, but also places like Campbeltown (where he suggested that I continued to Machrihanish)! And when I...
