Well within walking distance of the towns sights and railway station, the Tudor Lodge provides a quiet night's rest, great service and excellent continental breakfast. The owners, Anja and Carl, made us feel very welcome and helped us out with recommendations for the area.

Having stayed in B&B establishments in the UK for 60+ years, I firmly believe that the 'B' for breakfast means a cooked breakfast and I strongly feel that establishments not offering a cooked, hot breakfast should not be listed as B&Bs. Arrived without pre-booking and were warmly greeted by the owner who accommodated us in a lovely double room. The Lodge is spotlessly clean and the location is fantastic. We would definitely stay again and would recommend the Tudor Lodge to any traveller. A lovely stay.
