This was our 1st time staying here and we were really happy with Sandy Shores! The room was lovely and clean, Ron the owner was very friendly and so were the 2 ladies who cooked the breakfast! The food was lovely too. Will definitely stay here again.

We have stayed at this B&B many times, and can recommend it.It has the added bonus of well equipped chalets at the back of the main building, which are ideal for disabled people. There is usually plenty of street parking, with some limited parking around the back of the house.Ron always provides a full English breakfast, and comfortable bedrooms.

My partner and I stayed in Rhyl for one night, but had we not been booked in at the B&B we may have kept going! The welcome at the B&B (Sandy Shores) wasn't great to start with - noone answered the door or the phone and we'd actually put our bags back in the car when my partner finally got... More

Although a small distance from the main centre (which in our eyes was good), this g/h gave you everything you wanted, clean bedrooms with good showers, good breakfasts with variations from full if you wanted (not me,full every day, delicious), very friendly and interesting host, and a good base to explore a lot of the surrounding areas,(may i recommend Gigrin's... We stayed in the disabled annexe in the rear garden, the accomudation was clean and all you needed, Ron gas thought of everything including external electric plugs to charge mobility scooters. We went into main house for breakfast which was great Ron could not do enough for us. Hope to visit again.

As a stopover point from Dublin to Bath, we decided to stay in Wales. Specifically Rhyl, due to a friend's recommendation. He recommened we stay at the Sandy Shores Guesthouse. This place is very centrally located, a 5 minutes walk from pretty much anything: shopping, restaurants, the beach, arcade, etc. The house itself is cute: the exterior charming, and the... More
