This is a great place - I was only here for 1 night but the standard of the accomodation is excellent. The rooms are very luxurious, well equipped ,big bathrooms, and the breakfast is top notch. Unfortunately couldn't explore the area as was on a business trip but I'd use this as a great base for exploring mid Wales -... more

This was the second visit this year and everything is just as it should be. Quiet, personal and efficient service in a clean and pleasant house. No hesitation in recommending The Forest to anyone. more

It was spotlessly clean and comfortable, It was in an ideal setting if you wanted peace and quiet. Ideal for touring the area. The breakfast was very good and the local pub was just down the road and served excellent food. All in all a wonderful place to rest and relax. Will be going back in the future. more

arrived to a warm welcome from Paul (owner) A lovely house set in nice gardens with a lounge for guests, a tennis court and a games room. There was even a little kitchen with a fridge (for wine ) and a microwave. The room was very clean and the shower room huge. Breakfast was very good with loads of choice.... more

We stayed at the Forest for two nights mid-week for a short break with our 4 year old girl. It is a beautiful house, beautifully and sensitively decorated. The owners were more accommodating than any others providing toys for our daughter, a funky high(-ish) chair, a lounge a dining room, a kitchenette in case we wanted to bring take-aways back... more

We were lucky enough to stay in The Forest for two nights. We were returning to the South East of England from Scotland where we had spent Easter with relations and wanted to break the journey. We were looking for somewhere suitable for young children and which could accomodate our dog whilst still being able to enjoy a rural retreat... more

We came to Kerry to see some family and was told about this B&B. After we left Kerry a sort drive down a dirt road we came to what only could have come from picture books. This lovley grand building on a wonderful easte. You could hear a pin drop. Paul and Michelle never seem to sit down always busy... more

We are delighted that our guests enjoyed their stay with us. With regards to the shower we have discovered that there was a fault with the controller thermostat and this has been repaired. Also, The Forest is off a tarmac public 'B' road, not a dirt road, although at this time of year farm vehicles do leave their mark.

This rural detatched ,mainly 19th century, guest house has been in the hands of the current owners for about a year. Paul and Michelle came from Surrey and are investing in some serious renovations. The main house seems to be complete and work is now being done on outbuildings to create new accommodation, predominantly aimed at families. The house is... more

Our guest stayed in a double room located on a mezanine level and although sound proofing is good, it is possible that he may have been disturbed by another guest stopping to talk on the stairs. Our other 4 rooms are on the first floor away from the stairs.
