We stayed with Francisco and Any for one night in Vinales. The accommodation was great and the food fantastic, with very friendly hosts who speak excellent English. More than that though, Francisco is incredibly helpful and will be able to organise anything you want to do - he seems to know every one in Vinales. Highly recommended! more

A warm, welcoming place where the owners try to do everything to make you feel home and give you good advice. A hidden gem in the middle of the village. We truly enjoyed our stay and the cosy and well prepared meals. Thanks so much Any and Fransisco! more

I can't praise Villa Cristal highly enough. It was by far the best place we stayed in Cuba (and the cheapest!). You get your own little buidling in their lovely garden which is great as you get a bit of your own privacy too. It's spotlessly clean, has A-C, a TV and DVD player and its own terrace with rocking... more

We enjoyed our stay with Francisco and Any. Great hospitality. Delicious food (better than all the hotels). Nice room with beautiful bathroom. Our young children enjoyed playing with their children. more
I have now travelled all over Cuba, staying mainly in homestays, and Casa Cristal is the best by far. Francisco and his family speak excellent english, are very helpful and friendly, and we felt like we were part of the family. I have stayed at Villa Cristal 6 times, usually in March, once in July. Every year there are upgrades to the property. It is located 5 minutes from the Viazul bus station if you travel by bus from Habana. The owners, Francisco and Any, and their lovely children Efrain and Flavia, are charming, happy and helpful.
