Vinales is a must see region of Cuba and Mima's Villa La Cubana is a good place to stay. Expect great food and good company. Don't expect luxurious accommodations. Mima's place is clean and guests have a lot of space to themselves. Cons would include noisy tractors early in the morning, not having a toilet seat and the dubious wiring for hot water in the shower (all quite common in Vinales casa's). Mario a friend of mima's organised a nice visit to a local tobacco farm. Visit the San Vincente caves not the indian caves if you are in good shape (we brought our three year old, loved it but it was a bit difficult for her, luckily the guide carried her up and down the ropes). more
