Located off the beaten track on a fabulous palm-fringed sandy bay, La Sagesse combines unpretentious but comfortable beach-front cabins with a lovely restaurant and friendly staff. The wide sandy beach is safe with small coral snorkelling reefs out at the mouth of the bay, lovely unspoilt woodland, hilltop heath and coastal marshes are a haven for birds and insects and... more

My girlfriend and I spent 3 nights at La Sagesse and loved the place. Its definitely out of the way - there's not much else nearby, and you probably want to hire a car to see more of Grenada at some point during your stay. However, the place was quiet and relaxing and in a beautiful setting. The rooms, whilst... more

LaSagesse is a fantastic location. The room was great and righ on the beach. The location is away from town and is very laid back. Mike is the best host/owner you could fined. He was just full of island info. He was a great swimming partner wit us most mornings! The staff at LaSagesse is just great. John Grenwich, Sandy,... more

Being avid snorkelers, we booked a week at La Sagesse in November. The property is beautiful, with lush, tropical grounds - set on a private cove with a near-deserted beach and fabulously warm water. With only a dozen rooms, you really get the chance to know other guests if you wish - who are largely British tourists, and middle-aged couples... more

We have stayed at La Sagesse three times now and would highly recommend it. The resort is completely secluded, on a horseshoe bay with gentle surf (it's on the Atlantic coast). Previous posts describe the rooms as simple but basic and I guess that's correct but they are so stylishly put together - the only way in which they could... more

We decided that we wanted something really special, quiet and romantic for our honeymoon - and we got exactly what we wanted. This amazing, intimate hotel has just 12 rooms ,is off the beaten track and nestles totally on its own in a beautiful sweeping bay of white sand with turquoise sea gently lapping it's shore. The only people around are... more

Thank you so much to Mike, Nancy and Jerry for providing a perfect tropical getaway on Grenada. We LOVED every minute of our stay at the end of June 2008. since this was our first Caribbean vacation, Jerry spent time with my husband and I the first day of our stay to help us understand the local culture and Grenada.... more

La sagesse is in a lovely location - the waves lap up to the restaurant and some rooms are right on the beach. The hotel grounds are a of perfect laid back carribbean style. It's nice to walk around and relax there when it gets hot on the beach. The owner - Mike is very friendly and helpful. The accommodation... more

I just got back from a wonderful week at La Sagesse and want to share the charm of this place with other travellers looking for a vacation that is the opposite of an all-inclusive resort style holiday. If you crave lots of people, pool parties and dancing till dawn, than this is NOT the place for you. If, however, you... more

My sister and I wanted to go somewhere hot place so that we could have a complete rest after a long year and my sister's boyfriend moored his yacht in Grenada and recommened La Sagesse. I also checked the Trip Advisor site to make sure and the reviews were positive. I normally booked into 5* hotels so I was a... more
