This is the most budget and unfriendly hotel in the world, when we went couples were leaving by the bus load, unfortunatly we had booked through Thomas Cook and unless we paid another $400 each we couldnt move. The other 15 guests left and we all had a miserable time, the rep only showed up twice, the hotel is a... more

We just returned from a week at Mango Bay and I wish we could have stayed longer. We absolutely loved it! Comfortable sweet cottage on lovely grounds overlooking the water. Nicely laid out floor plan with porch and small kitchenette. We brought a few food items from the states as we made our own breakfasts and lunches. A quick bus... more

We had a wonderfull time: My husband and I stayed at the Mango Bay Cottages for over a week. It was fantastic. They met the flight, arranged car hire, provided a lovely very clean room with a big king sized bed, and a small but well equiped kitchen. It is run by Anja & Kai, a really friendly couple who... more

We were looking for an easy and relaxing place and we even got much more. The owners have constructed almost perfect small B&B with 4 cottages in a lush garden above a secluded sandy beach with calm waters, with great snorkeling. The room is spacious, with king size bed and a table with two chairs. A small kitchen has all... more

Our first trip to the Caribbean. We chose the end of the season - May. For us it was perfect. The weather was great and there were less tourists around. Mango Bay consists of 4 appartments built in two blocks of two. Next to this is the breakfast / dinner "balcony". All of these face out to sea, so you... more

We thought the place was beautiful and very relaxing. The rooms were very clean with all the amenities you needed if you wanted a night in. The views from the rooms and balconies were amazing. Anja and Kai were both nice, but felt they could relax a bit more. For example during breakfast they kept talking. Personally I don't like... more

Dear iresp, thank you for your review. But we are a little bit surprised. Why didn´t you tell you that you do not want to talk while having breakfast. On the other hand why did you ask questions during breakfast time, because how should I have known that you do not want me to answer these questions while you were...

We have just returned from a week at Mango Bay cottages - sadly we will not be making a return visit. Despite the comfortable cottages and welcome view, the hosts let the whole package down somewhat drastically. My partner and I have stayed at many privately owned cottages like Mango Bay and have had wonderful holidays which makes this negative... more

Now we are really “disappointed” as well, we just don’t understand this review. Just because there was a small misunderstanding with the car rental and the airport transfer we are know the worst hosts? This is the story from our side: At first there flight arrived ½ hour early and we had to drop other guests at the airport. At...

My spouse and I stayed at Mango Bay Cottages for 2 weeks in February 2008. We have visited many places in the Carribean but our stay at Mango Bay Cottages and Grenada stands out as one of our better vacations The location is off the beaten track but not too far from the local flavour (both St. George's and Gouyave).... more

If you don't care to stay at a huge resort and are looking for a picturesque retreat to make your base for exploring Grenada, look no further. The newly opened (October 2007) Mango Bay Cottages are clean, comfortable, and quiet. Great location away from the city makes it easy to explore the rest of the island. We enjoyed million-dollar sunset... more

I have been in the Carribean various times and on a couple of different places, but fell in love with Grenada almost immediately back in 2003. Since then this is my 4th time I spent on the isle and - luckily - found another hidden treasure: The Mango Bay Cottages! These guys did a fantastic job in turning a piece... more
