Sunny Cove Manor is a great looking building, but unfortunately the interior was disappointing. It is an extremely spacious property, our room had 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, and the beds were very comfortable. The rooms, particularly the windows, are in need of renovation and the bathrooms have seen better days. We did find the close proximity of the road and the railway a bit offputting due to the noise, especially in the morning, but we are used to a very quiet street at home. The room needed a good cleaning. However, Solveig was extremely friendly and very helpful and the breakfasts were adequate. Unfortunately we only saw one whale in the 3 days we were there but the weather had not been that kind. Ideally situated for Simonstown and Cape Point and only 5 mins walk from the Main Street in Fish Hoek. more
