My adult neice and I stayed two nights in room 1. This was my second stay at Tipple Tree. I love seeing the beachfront from the room. The accomendations are quite adequate for comfort. The grounds are clean and neat with lovely flowers. Very good for bird watching. We saw manatees just off the shore. A good supermarket is within... more

We just returned from our travels in Belize. We spent 9 wonderful days at Tipple Tree Beya, in the village of Hopkins on the coast of southern Belize. What a treat! Our accommodations were, clean, bright, and airy. The rooms are simple, but with excellent ventalation-good breezes and ceiling fans, and come with a fridge and coffeemaker. It was nice to... more

Price is good, but you definitely get what you pay for. There was thick dust covering the ceiling fan which triggered allergies to act up. If the dust wasn't enough, it was extremely noisy early in the morning and at night due to the next door neighbors animals. We also got eaten alive by the bugs. We couldn't enjoy our... more

My husband and I came here with my parents and had rooms 1 and 2 (room 1 has an outside shower which I loved and used the entire time even though I had access to the shower in room 2). Hopkins is the most laid back place on the earth. The people are unbelievably welcoming and friendly and we always... more

I loved the Tipple Tree Beya! For people who are interested in spending time outside, this place has a very good stretch of beach, lovely little shaded hammock space, and comfy chairs in the sun. The rooms were very simple, the beds and pillows could maybe be put out of their misery, but for the price was doable. This is... more

We came to Hopkins for lunch, and ended up spending three weeks at Tipple Tree Beya, two weeks in one of the front rooms and one week in the more spacious cabin, which I would recommend for a longer stay. Tricia is a wonderful host, very knowledgable about the area. Hopkins is a friendly village, and Tipple Tree has many... more

My boyfriend and I stayed at Tipple Tree Beya for 4 nights this February. We loved it there! We stayed in the Cabin at the back. It was a lovely room with a very comfortable bed. The room also has a safe, fridge and a microwave which were useful. It was very spacious and comfortable. Tricia, the owner, was very... more

Tipple Tree was fantastic. The rooms are simple and provide everything you need to relax and enjoy Hopkins. Nothing we did in Belize was better than lying in the Hammocks on the veranda at Tipple Tree in the evening with the ocean breeze blowing on your face and a cold beer in your hand. Tricia was a great host. She... more

This was one of my favorite destinations on our trip to Belize. Tipple Tree is right on the beach and such a good value. Basic, but has everything you need including the Caribbean breeze. Tricia was very hospitable & has many good suggestions for things to do & places to go. Renting her bikes to see town is definitely the... more
