We stopped at the Auberge de la Salvetat for 2 nights on an Inntravel cycling holiday around the Dordogne. Set in amongst woodland and hay meadows we found the place to be idyllic. Room furnished in quite an old fashioned style but fantastic setting in amongst fields and forest. lovely infinity pool and the english hosts were very hospitable indeed. beautiful place overall. more
We have just stayed at Auberge La Salvetat, in the Dordogne Valley for 4 days and it was excellent. Traditional French country style - comfortable, welcoming and not at all pretentious with simply delicious food.
