Visited Monet's Garden at Giveny so looked for a nearby hotel. This was a mistake, rooms too hot and the railway line just at the back of the hotel does not add to the ambience. The night before we six (in three Morgans) travelled to France I read a most disparaging report of this hotel in Trip Advisor, so as the trip organiser I naturally felt quite nervous and envisaged sleepless nights in a dreary hotel. We booked this hotel in order to visit Monet's Gardens and Versailles through Logis de France. The hotel looked like a dreamy location next to the Seine, the reality was very different.
