Just returned from a week in Platanias, and had a great time. The rooms in the sophia beach apartments were basic, but clean. I would advise anyone going there to put money aside for air conditioning though, as it gets very hot during the nights; this costs 45 euros a week. We came back from Sophia Beach last night after spending 2 weeks there. Nice resort and clean studios. We were pleased because we had a studio on the upper floor. We paid for the 2 weeks air conditioning because the temperature was very hot and we did need it. The price was in fact cheaper than we paidy last year... more

We used this site ourselves before booking and got exactly what we were looking for... Great fairly basic apartments built along a lovely walkway with borders/pots of flowers, leading to bar area, pool, and beach.
