+'s first. We had app. no.112 with a pool. Accomodation was superb - best we have ever had in Greece. Cleaning and change of towels every day and change of bedclothes twice a week. Staff helpful and very friendly. Nets arranged in the doors - so no problem with mosquitos (rare at that season anyway). Enough space at the pool.... more

We arrived late at night as our flight was a little bit delayed. The reception welcomed us very kindly and we were offered hot food although the main kitchen was closed at that time. After a quiet and relaxing sleep we were suprised to find out that we would have our (15meter choice) buffet by the pool and on the beach...Rooms were... more

We arrived very late and were told that they could give us a room but it would cost 140 euro's eventhough I was able to book a room for 95 euro's on the internet. According to the manager the was the only room available as the hotel was full. The hotel seemed empty both that evening and the next morning.... more

Whilst the apartments and the hotel grounds are pleasant and the location reasonable, this is not (in my view) a 4 star hotel. If you are looking for a comfortable room to retire to at the end of a day's sight-seeing and only need a euro-buffet breakfast, then the hotel is a reasonable (though not cheap) choice. However as a... more

We booked this hotel through a great last minute deal. It seems to have been recently renovated with high quality materials throughout. Our room (an appartment which consisted of one bedroom and a sitting room with small kitchen and dining table) was very spacious and had a nice balcony with sideways view of the ocean). It missed some atmosphere as... more

Very nice and quiet hotel ideal for a relaxing vacation. Very good facilities, excellent swimming pool and friendly stuff. Great location on the seaside with all the major night life just 3 minutes drive away but far enough for a peaceful stay. True five star hotel serving excellent local cuisine, definitely recommend it. more

Mosquito infested swamp...... It looks nice when you sit at the lobby, but then in the morning when you go the breakfast you discover the worst food possible in the island of natural food recources. The milk was instant from a can with added tab water. the rest completely inedible. The stuff rude and unprofessional. In the evening the place... more

We have been at the Asterion every year since its opening in 2003 and came to consider it as a second home. We just loved its location, the ambiance and decor. We booked (directly by email) 3 weeks ago and were flabbergasted on arrival last week to find, instead of the usual delighful place, an open air, fully working building... more
