Hotel Amaryllis is very nice family hotel and is very clean which is to us most important. It is situated cca 5 minutes by walk from the beach. It is around the corner of the main street. We got really large room with two terraces so we had a great view - from one corner you can also see the sea. The mattresses were a bit hard and uncomfortable and the bed was small for double-bed. Otherwise alright and most importantly clean. The hotel offers only breakfast which is the same everyday and only sweet stuff. Overall I really liked the cozy atmosphere of the hotel. And the hotel rates are very reasonable. The location was also good. We took a trip to Kamari - another touristic location -but didn't like there the constant plane landing which is very disturbing so we were glad we stayed in Perissa.
The island itself is beautiful. I recommend to hire a scooter or a car cause the island is very small so you can easily reach any place. It is definitely worth it! The beaches with dark... more
