We stayed at the Mediterranean Hotel for 4 nights in July 2008. We had an excellent stay and can not fault the hotel in anyway. First off, the hotel is in a great location, across the street from the beach and within a 10 minute walk to the medieval town. Our room, although slightly dated, was quite decent as it... more

We were delighted when we were dropped off at this very smart hotel after seeing where some other holiday makers had been deposited! We checked in very late at night & it was a breeze, the evening duty manger & porter were very friendly & welcoming. When we got to our room we found that it wasn't quite the "sea... more

The location of this renovated hotel is superb. The old town as well as the main shopping area of the city are both within a 10 minute walk from the hotel. I was pleasantly surpised when i arrived at this hotel as its web site does not do it any justice. The rooms (junior suites) were spacious, clean and with... more

The hotel is renovated and its location is superb. The kitchen and restaurant staff is excellent BUT THE RECEPTIONISTS ARE HORRIBLE (all morning shifts) with the exception of the night shift and Emilia more

The hotel is about 5 minutes walk to the old town and right next to the casino. We stayed for 2 nights and booked for a seaview room. Our balcony was looking over the beach we were able to see the ships passing through. We woke up in the morning looking at the spectacular sunrise. Breakfast was a plesant affair... more

Just returned from a three week vacation in Greece, spending five nights at the Mediterranean Hotel in Rhodes. Great location across from the beach and a comfortable 15 minute walk to the Old Town. Rooms were older, but clean. Front staff were polite and professional. Breakfast and dinner buffets were included with our price. Food was above average for a... more

We had no problems at all with this hotel. The Front desk staff were effecient and effective; suppling us with bus schedules and giving directions. The food was fantastic! Breakfast was your typical Greek hotel meal but dinner was superb! Starting with a buffet and then the main course and desert served as table service. The room its self was... more

We got off to a bad start in that we were supposed to be in a front seaview room but they initially had us in a side seaview room. We complained and they told us they did not have one available until the next day. They offered us a free lunch to compensate us and moved us the next morning... more

The hotel is located very conveniently near the Casino and within walking distance (ca 10-20 minutes) from Mandraki and the old town. The beach is nice but very crowded in normal hours because it is the only nice beach near Rhodes town centre. OK for a while but you'll have to drive to the beaches on the east side to... more

We recently went on our honeymoon to the Greek Isles and stayed at several 4-star hotels and this was by far the worst one. Negatives: The walls are paper thin...which would not have been such a bad thing except for the fact that the Casino is next door and they had LOUD music playing well after midnight. The bed was... more
