Great breakfasts too! Patrick was a terrific host, and his hotel was full of Gallic charm. We wished we had more than one night in Rhodes. The location was perfect, in the old town but away from the tourist hullabaloo. Breakfast included fresh bread and fruit, and eggs at an additional cost. Fresh flowers, and books available for loan. Great... more

My husband and I visited Rhodes as our last stop in our honeymoon trip in Greece and we stayed in Hotel Andreas for 2 nights. As the hotel is built in an old mention of more than a hundred year, one may not expect the rooms being cozy and with super conveniences like modern hotels. However, the staffs were very... more

Yes, some of the rooms in this over 500 year old pension are small, but all are charming and clean, with the atmosphere one should expect in a medieval town!!! It was refreshingly authentic to NOT have a telephone, fridge or television in the room. We have been both entertained and educated by the charming Sotirois, a Colossal asset to... more

We came, we saw our room, we left two hours later after being compelled to pay the cost of two nights accommodation to avoid having to stay here. After reading an article in the Guardian recommending this hotel, we contacted Hotel Andreas asking for the room recommended by the article. This wasn't available, but the hotel recommended another room. We... more

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Andreas. After a not so good hotel experience in Marmaris, and feeling a bit hungover, we stepped into old town Rhodes and it was just a different world. Cobbled streets, idyllic and quiet, with people not hassling you too much. We stumbled across Hotel Andreas (though their instructions were very good to get... more

My partner and I spent 3 very enjoyable nights at Hotel Andreas. The location is outstanding - right in the Old Town and only a few minutes away from the outstanding restaurants. Staff were very friendly and helpful. All rooms are unique. We were in one of the cheaper rooms (Room 12) with a shower in the room and a... more

This is an excellent choice for people interested in the old town of Rhodes, and who wants to get away from the (sometimes overwhelming) tourist crowds. As it is located in a very old building from the Ottoman period the interior is simple and sometimes unpractical, but with a soul. We stayed in room # 20 ("Darley"), and it's very... more

Hotel Andreas is in a wonderful location with so much ambiance! The hotel’s hosts are wonderful and friendly. Our room was clean and nice though the pictures on the site make the rooms look larger than they really are. Some rooms have A/C, some don’t, so if that is important, make sure you communicate that clearly when making your booking!... more

We stayed in Room 21 (Justene at the top) at the Andreas Hotel in Oct. 2007. It is a very charming place within the old city walls. The room was reasonable in size, cleanliness and comfort, but the bathroom was a tight fit. The bath was insuite, which is not always the case at Andreas. Open windows provided good ventilation... more

I booked room 16 in hotel Andreas for the 2 nights after asking advice from Tripadvisor contributors. Getting from St Johns Gate (where the taxi dropped us ) was a mini ordeal ; over cobbles in blazing heat with wheeled suitcases, but was worth it for the view. Our reception was excellent, people were just checking out of our room... more
