Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

My sister and I were a bit daunted when we found the albergo and realized there were steep stairs to the rooms. However, the woman who manages or owns the hotel lugged our heavy suitcases upstairs then gave us a choice of two rooms. We chose the one with the larger bathroom and were thrilled to find that there were heated tiles and a functional radiator in the room since our first two days were chilly and windy. The breakfast was generous, there is free parking about 1/4 of a mile away and best of all we were offered a free tour and wine tasting at a beautiful local vineyard. Overall a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Very nice hotel situated in center, staff very friendly. Room was clean and comfortable. Parking is including in the preis and is located comparatively close to the hotel. Our bathroom was new, very clean and large. Next to the hotel is caffetteria and market. Perfect accomodation. We definitely recommend this hotel.

Such a lovely hotel and the location is superb. Roberto and his entire family take care of the hotel, and are such wonderful people. Very cheerful and always interested in making sure you are comfortable. Free parking is included at the top of the hill in the public spaces, not much car traffic within the city walls. The rooms are spacious and clean, with the beds being on the hard side; very little give. We were to stay in a neighboring B&B but they overbooked us, and Roberto was gracious enough to hold a room for us as Expedia couldn't reach us. Also included the free breakfast that they do not normally have for their guests. Can't say much more than that for the good heart these people have to complete strangers. We really enjoyed staying here as the park across the street gives you a real Tuscan village feel as the families come out to socialize in the evening, the bar has tables for enjoying Brunello and snacks, and the garden caretaker (a legend in this town) is a real gem. Love Montalcino and Albergo Giardino. Thank you for a wonderful stay. No elevator, just stairs. Wi-fi was included but not very strong in the bedrooms, good in main lobby and the bar next door. Also, Roberto is a true Italian so best brush up on your Italian to better communicate. Quite a fun experience learning this way!

Albergo Giardino is perfectly located at the edge of the city centre in really interesting building. The owner was really friendly and we were warmly welcomed. Eventhough there was a little language barrier since owners don't speak english well, it was no problem to discuss everything important without big issues. Three available rooms were shown to us and we picked the spacious one on the 1st floor with the window to the Via Cialdini and renowated bathroom. Everything was clean. Equipment is simple, but sufficient. Parking is possible for free at the parking lot 5 minutes by foot away and it is no problem to stop for loading/unloading right in front of the door. Wi-fi was not stable but we were told it was temporary. Considering the price you'll hardly find better value in the area.

Awesome location, and very very very affordable. This Inn is so conveniently located that we overlooked the fact that our bathroom was so tiny that you literally had to shower while standing between the toilet and bidet...! I suppose that alone added a certain charm to the experience!
