We have stayed at this establishment every year for the past ten years, and, in 2007 went twice. During this time we have met Americans, Germans, Norwegians who do exavctly the same thing. Nuff said ? more
This is our second stay with Mariva and she greeted us like long lost friends. I feel I need to update my review of last year to say that yes staying in the other, smaller rooms is much quieter as they are further away from the road so you don't hear the traffic noise. My husband and I were married at Il Colombaio in September 2003 and it was absolutely beautiful. The Farmhouse apartments are gorgeous, the restaurant is outstanding, and the owners are wonderful.
