We stayed at this hotel after touring "chateau gruyere" early September 2011. The area is quite and you need a car. They did not allow us use the pool ! It was little warm and we had to leave the balcony door open.

Friendly and helpful reception. Rooms well-equipped with all that is needed including bathrobes and slippers - perfect for accessing the spa linked to the hotel by an underground passage. After a 250km trip, we arrived on time (16.00) for a one night stay in charmey. Room wasn't ready and it was impossible to change for a free room, etc... etc... at the end of a 10 mn negociation, we have been offered, at last, a free drink at the hotel bar... amazing. stayed in one of the nwly renovated rooms on 3 floor, just magnificent how the interior designer blended modern with traditional Swiss country look. Make sure you reserve a south facing room, the view of the snow covered Moleson mountain in the morning was just breathtaking. Attention: no American Express accepted !

Stayed 2 nights for a family stay, great location, excellent hotel with complete renovated rooms and a direct acces to the wellness. We had a dinner in the gastronomic restaurant, called Quatre Saisons, pleasant atmosphere and great food. Our room had a terrace and superb view on the mountains.

Booked 2 rooms for a night on the 1st August and glad it was for only a night. Hotels in Switzerland are known for their high standards and quality but not in this case. Excellent restaurant ! We went to Charmey les Bains for the morning and arrived at the restaurant at 2:45 pm or so. The kitchen was closed but they were kind enough to make an exception and serve our party. The staff was very kind and attentive, the service excellent - the order was taken very quickly and in no time... More

Hôtel un peu surfait et cher pour ce qui est proposé. Notre chambre était jolie mais la déco et les meubles sont un peu démodés et manquent d'originalité, pas à la hauteur d'un 4 étoiles.
